It is expensive as compared to SUVs with somewhat similar features like MG Hector/Harrier/Creta . Of course, in strict terms, not comparable. Jeep features , quality of interiors, layout of controls etc are quite good and tastefully done and of course, one pays for the brand too. I find driving a pleasure as one does not feel tired even after a long drive, particularly for a senior citizen like me. I enjoy driving and hence have a manual transmission which i find very easy to handle. I have only once shifted to the 6th gear but then the car gets really quiet. Mileage is very good on highways and it gives me 11.5 km/litre within city , going upto 18-20 kms/litre on highways. Of course my ciry driving is within a city that does not have too many traffic snarls. Now that Jeep is not very old in the country, one really cannot be sure of the maintenance cost after 5 years. Bur since my usage is very low, hopefully it should serve me well. I sometimes feel that the Diesel Limited 2.0L version's headlights could have been better particularly when using dipped headlights. Or maybe I feel so. Maybe others can add to this. I am told that the Diesel Limited 2.0(O) and higher models have better headlamps. But do check it out.

It is great vehicle with solid and safe build. Doors close with a reassuring thud, the engine is powerful and eager, fuel efficiency is decent ( driving 80-100 kmph) constantly has given me an average of 21 km/l on expressway, The interior plastics are of good quality and the handling of the vehicle is very sporty in nature. What u will miss is a sense of space and rear seat comfort . It is a driver focused car

I have been using petrol Compass Limited Plus automatic variant for the past 18 months. I am thrilled by its driving manners, stability build quality. I have driven it from Bangalore to Chennai and Hyderabad without any strain. I sorely miss the Cruise Control feature in 2018 Compass. Fortunately it is available in 2020 Compass. If the price is not a serious issue, go for it without second thought.
